Herbs For The Thinning Veil ~ With Herbalist Leah Wolfe. October 18th 4-6pm

The roots of Halloween dig into autumn traditions celebrated around the world. People celebrated where they came from and the people that came before them. People celebrated the harvest with blessings for the darker days to come. If you want more than candy, costumes, and inflatable icons, join a deeper celebration of the autumnal shifts. Herbalist Leah Wolfe comes to Roots of Reverence for an evening of storytelling about plants, the thinning veil, and ways to connect with ancestral traditions. Ancestral work is meant as the process of connecting with people who have inspired, nurtured, or assisted and not necessarily related as family. Along with tastings of herbs for the thinning veil, enjoy a traditional food and a warming beverage.
